The 4th...Fun, Friends, Family and Fireworks

In 2006, so 9 years ago, our 4th of July tradition began.  

The twins were born, but other than that no babies were in the mix.

Fast forward to this year, 2015, 

a lot is still the same.

Our friendship continues to be so special.

Each of these girls were bridesmaids in my wedding.

Some things are the same,

but a BIG change since 2006 is...

we have MULTIPLIED! 

A total of 15 kids now call us Mom.

It melts our hearts when we see our kids 

bonding with each others kids.

We pray our kiddos will have Godly, dear friendships forever,

just as we have been blessed with.

The Fourth of July never disappoints. 

It is just wonderful, family fun!

Our favorite 4th of July crew...

4th of July!

We had such a fun 4th of July.  Getting together with some of our sweetest friends who we have known for most of our life is one of my favorite highlights of our year.  My heart was full and happy.  The kids were in heaven playing, swimming and laughing with their friends.  There was plenty of fun, food, friends, family and fireworks.  We already can't wait until next year!

Austin had the best day.  Can you tell?  No nap. Constant playing, running, and swimming for this little 2 year old made me exhausted.  He fell asleep at the beginning of the firework show and didn't wake up until the next morning!  He slept thru transferring home in the car seat and even his diaper change and pjs!  HA!

4th of July fun!

We had a wonderful time celebrating the 4th of July with friends and family.  I absolutely LOVE our tradition of swimming, bbq and fireworks with some of our favorite people.  

 I knew the water blasters would be a hit.  However, I didn't think the person to start all the fun would have been Eric!  He held my nephew, Jed for hostage!  HA!!

 The game got pretty intense.  Actually I am not sure if the game ever stopped.  HA!  Maybe a break to eat, but that was about it.  :)

Our group multiplies every year!  The kids are outnumbering us adults!  All of these friends I have known since high school.  Such wonderful memories we have shared together!!
