Thanksgiving with Penners

I am finally getting to post about our fun Thanksgiving with the Penner fam.  Our day started with meeting at the park for a rainy day football game.  Oh the memories!!

One team had plays and huddles...

The other team...well, they had fun out there.  The other team had fun too, but let's just say their huddles and plays helped.  HA!

While the adults had an intense football game, the kiddos played their own games...

Then, we went home, got cleaned up and met back at our cousin's house for dinner together.  Aubrey Rose and her cousin Riley matched.  It was the cutest thing.

A surprise?? Not so much...

We celebrated Big Papa's birthday the weekend before, by taking a trip to Santa Barbara, but the fun did not end there.  The celebration continued with friends and family back at home.  Even though he wasn't surprised like we had hoped, I am pretty sure he felt the love.  :)  (He is too smart!!)

Big Papa's 60th!

We got to enjoy a weekend in Santa Barbara with Blake's family celebrating his dad's birthday!Thank you Bill and Linda for such a wonderful time together.  There is nothing better than being with family.  Happy 60th Birthday, Big Papa!!

 Our highlight of our wine tasting was in the beautiful, adorable city of Los Olivos.  

Our last morning at the hotel we walked across the street and enjoyed a little beach time.   Aubrey had been asking all weekend, so we were glad we snuck it in right before it was time to go.

 Ready to go for a little more wine tours and some sight seeing of beautiful polo fields.
