One of the first times Blake and I previewed our new (I say new but we have already lived here 2 years now!) house together we found a bunny in the front yard. It melted my heart! I love bunnies. I have always thought they are so cute. Now we have 3 bunnies! We have yet to find out if anyone actually owns these. I think they are just our neighborhood bunnies! And they are multiplying!!! There used to be the black and white ones and then they had 2 brown bunnies. Soooo adorable! We haven't seen the 2nd bunny in a LONG time, so we think something happened to him.

Bittersweet Move
My sister and her husband recently moved to Alameda, CA. Bittersweet for sure! Aaron got a phenomenal job offer and the beautiful bay started calling their names. I cried when they left. I am going to miss them being in Fresno. We sure were spoiled the past few years with everyone from my family in one city. Praise the Lord it is only a short 3 or so hour drive. I am so happy for their new adventure, this new season in their lives, but it is definitely bittersweet. We will miss the weekly family nights all together and just miss them in general, but I am also excited to see what God has planned for them and how long until they move back home. HA!!
We took this picture the night before they left...
Aaron and Christy are already enjoying their new life in the Bay. I can't wait to get a tour of my sister's new city!
Thank goodness for the holidays coming up! We have multiple family get togethers already planned that we won't go more than a couple of weeks without seeing Aaron and Christy. Thank goodness!! I am already missing them!

Tap, Tap, Tap
Aubrey Rose went to her first dance class. She is still talking about it! And more than likely, if you asked her, she would probably "perform" for you what she learned at her class. First, she will stand on her tippy toes for you like a ballerina. Next, she will put her feet out one by one, and say "tap, tap, tap." Dance class and all the tutus were BEYOND adorable. God knew I needed a little girl. :)
It made it even more special to have one of Aubrey Rose's favorite friends, Taylor, in the same class. The girls held hands almost the entire class. I told you...BEYOND adorable.
For being 2 1/2 and this being her first dance class, I was pretty impressed with her attentiveness to the teacher. Taylor and Peyton were trying to show us their stamps they got on their hands. So cute! This picture below cracked me up. "No more pictures please, Mommy. I am trying to focus."

Productive weekend
This past weekend Blake and I spent almost the entire weekend at home...cleaning, organizing, working on projects we have wanted to for quite a long time. It felt good. While Blake worked outside, Aubrey Rose worked with him. She got really, REALLY dirty! She loved it! However, when she walked into the house I immediately had to strip her down and I couldn't even bear to let her walk upstairs to the bath. The furthest she got was the laundry room sink. She might have loved that even more than the whole work day. HA!!

Wonderful "peachy" tradition
My husband is a peach farmer. Aubrey Rose's first peach season we decided to take a picture of her in a bin of Wawona peaches. It has become a wonderful "peachy" tradition.

Carving pumpkins
We carved pumpkins with Auntie Allie this week. My brother's wife, Allie, is on bed rest right now. She is due the middle of December. We went over and brought a little entertainment for Allie. Aubrey Rose enjoyed it, however she did not touch ANYTHING besides the outside of the pumpkins and the tools that were used. HA! Turns out we didn't even need to put plastic down for the mess. Who would have known?!! HA!!
Aubrey Rose watched Blake and Allie carve the pumpkins, while she organized the tools. She matched all the yellows tools together. The pumpkin scoopers were all in their correct stack. Everything had its place. Oh goodness! Another perfection in the family. She did tell us she was "scooping" her pumpkin out. She actually did everything to her pumpkin that Daddy and Auntie Allie were doing except her pumpkin was not never opened. HA! Final product...Blake's and Allie's Saturday, October 16, 2010
Aubrey Rose's 1st Haircut
I know. I know. 2 years and 6 1/2 months is a REALLY long time to go without a haircut. In hers (and mostly, our) defense, does it help that she did not have enough hair to put into a clip until she was 18 months old???!!
