This is a picture of our kiddos last year, Valentine's 2012. 

My, how they have changed!!  The days often feel long, but the years feel short!

Here is this year in 2013...

 I got to enjoy the afternoon with Aubreys preschool class.  I think she told me a dozen times how thankful she was that I got to come to her Valentines day party.  She is pretty great.

 We absolutely LOVE Miss Elia.  She is so good to our little girl.  

And our girl adores her.

 After preschool, Aubrey went and helped Oma make heart shaped cakes to decorate.

Valentine's Day

We are backtracking a little bit, but I don't want to miss some fun pictures.  These are some of our sweet memories from Valentine's Day. 

Oma (my mom) invited us over to decorate a heart shaped cake.  It was a tradition we did growing up and now she is continuing it with our little ones.  So fun!  Thanks Mom!

On Valentines night, we decided to switch it up a little and not do the typical Valentine, romantic dinner, just the two of us.  Instead we decided to make new memories as a family with dear friends.  I am sure this is going to be a new tradition because it was such a great night!  We went to Skywalk, then dinner at Red Robin and a little ice cream.  So fun!

 

Mimi (Blake's mom) made all these shirts for us!  Linda and I have started a new business called My Sweet Threads!  (More about this later!)

The kids LOVED Skywalk!  It is a room FULL of trampolines.  Perfect!

 We did have 2 hurt ankles in the process.  So sad!  Everybody is walking just fine now though.  :)

 And a little ice cream treat to complete the night.  Where is Jett?  We are missing one!

 Austin stealing a bite.  Surprise, surprise he kept wanting more. :)

 The whole group being silly.  LOVED our Valentine's night!  Let me know if you want to go next year!   I am sure we will be repeating!  :)

Happy Valentine's Day!!

We have a fun day ahead planned for us over here.  Aubrey Rose has a Valentine party at preschool.  She was so excited to bring little Valentines for all of her friends.  

For lunch, Daddy is going to take his little girl out for a special date.  She is really into dates lately.  He asked her where she wanted to go and she said "To school."  HA!  She LOVES it there!  :)

Later, as a family we are going to have fun jumping and playing at Skywalk and then dinner with some friends.  We are looking forward to it!

I love how every Valentine's Day looks so different.  This year we have a new little guy around.  Last year I was wondering if we would have a Valentine baby.  Little did I know I still had almost 2 weeks to go.  What a blessing to have these precious feet to kiss and tickle today. 

 I love how when we took these fun pictures, I sat Austin right next to Aubrey Rose and this is how she posed...

for like five pictures.  :) She loves him.  A lot.

She just wanted to squeeze him.

 And tickle him.

And hug him.

I love how they love each other.

Their smiles make me melt and so do their blue and brown eyes.

And just to keep it real (hint...hint...Karen)  HA!  He had enough of this picture stuff!  He was ready to go and play.  :)
