Fun at the Zoo!

This sure is the time of year to go to the zoo! There was NO ONE there! Well, we were also their first thing in the morning on a chilly day, so that might have something to do with it too. But it sure was nice not weaving around the usual crowds. The only downside is there were some animals that were hibernating or hiding in the warm areas we could not see. But all in all, it was a GREAT morning together!

Aubrey Rose all bundled up! Oma (my mom) was so sweet to join us for a fun couple of hours at the zoo.

We started with the elephants.

Aubrey Rose loves to show us how flamingos stand and of course she loves to see the flamingos because they are PINK. Her favorite color!

Giraffes...she loves to tell you they have "REALLY LOOOOONG necks."The reptile room has been remodeled. We LOVED the new big windows to look through rather than a bunch of little, small square windows.

Can't wait to go back!! :)
