Harvest Ball

We got to enjoy a fancy evening out helping support a wonderful cause.  This black tie affair supported the Children's Hospital of Central California.  This hospital is so dear to our hearts.  My first job was there.  I absolutely LOVED working in the Surgical and Oncology department.  Even more importantly than being an employee, the hospital has taken such wonderful care of so many of our family and friends children.  It is a phenomenal place, offering exceptional care.  

It was such a fun night celebrating with family and friends.

Summer has come...

and gone.  We are sad to see the summer fun leave,

but Daddy is already anxious for ski season!

River time??

Not so much!!  Aubrey Rose has been asking to go to our little river.  Austin and I often go after we drop off Aubrey at preschool.  

So we ended up leaving and fed the ducks.

Hot Air Balloons!

Last weekend we woke up a little earlier than normal and went out to watch the hot air balloons take off.  It is so incredible to watch in person.  The last time we went, I was pregnant with Austin...now look at that boy!  So fun!

Aubrey Rose takes the oldest cousin responsibility very seriously.  

It is so precious.  

The other day I found her reading to her little cousin, Riley.  

Aubrey doesn't know how to read yet, 

so she just sang "Jesus Loves Me," 

as she turned the pages.  

It was the cutest thing.

Our babies

Our babies are growing up fast.

Vroooooooom!!! Vroooooooom!!

The other day, Austin rolled his high chair over to me and asked to get in.

I thought he might be hungry.

Instead after sitting down, he asked for his trucks.

 He just drove...

 and drove...

and drove them all around.

 "Vroooooom,

 vroooooooom, vroooooooom!"

 He laughed.

 We both smiled.

 He has a huge passion for anything with wheels.  It often makes me wonder...

 where God will lead him in the future.  I can't wait to find out.
