Another day in paradise that is for sure! It started with Blake and Linda going to a tennis lesson at the Hyatt hotel. They had so much fun. After Aubrey's nap, Bill and I walked over to watch them. They were tearing it up on the courts. Then we layed out, soaked up the sun, Aubrey slept in her stroller, had a little lunch at the pool, swam and then got ready for another basketball game. After the game, we went into Lahaina for some dinner and shopping. Aubrey Rose is doing great. She definitely is getting 2 more teeth on the top, which we can tell she is not enjoying, but she is being a trooper. Bradley and Blair are arriving today with their significant others today. We are looking forward to some more wonderful family time!!
Bill needs a pair of boardshorts. So Blake was trying to make his dad hip.
Beautiful ladies and their stunner shades. I wish you could have been here during our sunglass fashion show. It is such a fun memory of Mimi and Aubrey Rose trying on their sunglasses. The pictures show a little of how much fun we had. Obviously, Aubrey was not as much of a fan, but oh the pictures are priceless!
Blake's favorite college b-ball team, well besides Fresno State of course, are the North Carolina Tarheels. We got to watch them play!! Blake was lovin' it! We have a TON of pictures of the game. Probably 10 pics per player. Okay maybe not that many, but we for sure have at least 10 of #50. I don't even know his name, but he was definitely the top dog on the court because when he would shoot for his free throws all the fans had their cameras up trying to get a shot of the superstar. It was pretty fun!

Aubrey Rose loves Maui too!
So we are here in Maui for Thanksgiving week...and lovin' every minute of it! We arrived yesterday and are staying for a week. We are here with Blake's family. Aubrey Rose has been such a good girl...which is no surprise to us. :-) Today we hung out at the hotel, laying out, swimming in the pools, eating, resting, playing games and being completely entertained by our little girl. We learned a lot about Aubrey Rose today. We learned she doesn't like her feet in the sand, she doesn't like to stand or crawl on the grass and she doesn't enjoy the pool being cold. (Please don't tell her, when she is old enough to understand, that we laughed the whole time while she fussed, with no tears by the way, as though we were torturing her.) Thankfully, she came around to the water thing. We slowly got her accustomed to the temperature and soon we got a picture of her smiling. The grass and the sand...those are still a work in progress. I have a great picture of her crying while on her hands and knees. Pretty entertaining!
Maui is quite different with a little one in tow. It is so much fun to wonder what her little mind is thinking when she looks out onto the ocean or when she holds on to me tighter as the wind blows. Blake's parents were so sweet to take Aubrey up for a nap while we got to lay out in the sun, instead of hiding her in the shade as much as possible. It was such a wonderful day! Tonight we got ready and went to a basketball game. We watched the Oregon Ducks beat Alabama in the Maui Invitational and then tomorrow we get to watch Oregon play again...but this time against NORTH CAROLINA (which is probably Blake's favorite team). We are really looking forward to it. Tomorrow I think we are going to do a little shopping too. We of course have some wonderful pictures that we will share, but I haven't been able to download them yet. In the meantime, here is a little update. Thanks for checking in on us!!

I just LOVE sweet family time!
Last weekend, we had an early Thanksgiving celebration with my Penner side of the family. I absolutely love getting everyone together. This time it was at our house, which made it even more fun for us. We love having friends and family over. This holiday we had a another new addition. My cousins, David and Arris had a little boy a couple of weeks ago, so even little Jadon got to hang out. It was a great time of getting together, laughing, catching up, eating a ton, eating some more, being entertained by the newest additions, and just enjoying sweet family time. We are so blessed!
Here is a picture of everyone who was able to come. It looks like a lot of people but the surprising thing is this is only about half of the Penner's! The other families live in Canada. We missed you guys!
Our new additions over this past year. Aubrey Rose, Jadon, and Christopher.
Sweet Auntie Allie always takes such good care of our little girl. Thanks Allie!

Cute outfits call for photo shoots!
Little late, but worth the wait....
This picture below is a little deceiving because it looks like Aubrey Rose wanted to tell Christopher a secret, but in actuality she wanted to tackle him. Good thing they both came up smiling!!
