Almost ONE!

We are getting so close to Austin turning ONE.  Time is flying.  Here are some of my favorites of him the last month or so.  The end of the month he will be a big ONE year old!  This boy sure brings us so much joy!

Aubrey and Auntie's fashion show

Austin has had lots of love on here lately.  How about some love for his girly-girl sister!  Auntie Blair (Blake's sweet sister) asked if Aubrey Rose wanted to be in a bridal fashion show.  Auntie Blair was the bride and she asked if Aubrey wanted to be her flower girl.  Oh my, it was one of the cutest things I have ever seen.  

 Aubrey has to work a little on our posing and the correct model walk,

 but she loved all the glamour,

 especially getting to do it with Auntie BB.

The video below was my favorite.  She walked by herself, blew me a kiss and then ran over to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.  HA! Not really typical catwalk style, but melted my heart!  :)

And just so I remember what this little girl talked like...love her!

Then, we got a special treat.  One of the employees of the building took us on top of the rooftop.  It was so neat!!

For all you Fresno people, that is Freeway 41 with Riverpark in the background.  So fun to see the whole city from so high up.

Aubrey Rose was quite the fan of this whole day.  She said "It was so fun getting married, Mommy!"  Oh dear!!!  I quickly informed her she is DEFINITELY NOT MARRIED.  And she never will be.  Okay, just kidding I didn't say the last part.  :)

All boy

This little guy LOVES the outside.  Waaaaaaaaay different than our little girl.  Aubrey Rose just recently started to enjoy getting dirty in the dirt.  She used to stand on the cement to put her shovel in the dirt or if she happened to have her feet (always in shoes of course) in the dirt she would squat her legs without sitting her bottom on the ground.  It always cracked me up.  This is definitely not the case with her brother.  

He is all boy.  This little boy loves everything about the dirt, even eating it.  

When those doors open, he wants out.  If I don't let him out, he screams and screams.  

When he does get to go out, he doesn't need food or drink, he just plays and get really dirty for an amazingly long time.  

He loves it and so do we.  :)

Giggles together

One of my favorite parts of my day is when these two are playing together and loving each other's company.  The best is when they are laughing hysterically, making me want to stop everything I am doing and laugh with them.  Love it.

Since my days are a little busy lately I decided to give you some snapshots into our little world. I thought videos might do the trick. 

At 11 months, our little man has been learning all kinds of new things.  He is getting really good at going up and down the stairs, but one of his favorite things to do is this...

A busy, walking boy

Austin is definitely on the move, walking everywhere.  I think his new walking speed has some (or maybe even a lot) of why I haven't blogged as much lately.  The times I used to blog, I now use to pick up every corner of the house.  I will get a handle on all of this someday.  In the meantime, I will enjoy this little boy helping make our house a well lived in home.  :)

Videos make me smile

This one makes me smile.  This is life around here.  One of our favorite times of the day is when Daddy comes home.  This was a little while back when Austin was still learning how to walk.
